Answer

How effects on health equity are assessed in systematic reviews of interventions

The article is about enhancing health equity so that everyone can access health care facilities despite their racial, ethnic affiliations, and personal characteristics like age and disability. The situation might affect the victims by hindering them from accessing quality healthcare. The lack of health inequality affects the victims negatively since it provides limited health opportunities, such as food, a conducive environment, and school (Welch et al., 2022). It is wrong to discriminate against a person and refuse to provide healthcare services. The institution liable can be closed, or other punitive measures like suspension can be put forward. This acts as a warning to healthcare providers so that they do not discriminate against a person and fail to provide quality healthcare services. Situations like this affect society as it is challenging to achieve sustainable development goals, hence poverty will continue to be experienced.

Barriers to fertility care for racial/ethnic minority groups: a systematic qualitative review

The article discusses how minority groups suffer from accessing quality fertility care due to their racial and ethnic affiliations. In this case, the racial and ethnic groups included blacks, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders, South/East Asians, and the immigrant/refugee groups (Kirubarajan et al., 2021). Such patients reported stigmatization of fertility care, language barriers, and lack of fertility knowledge, putting their fertility health at risk (Kirubarajan et al., 2021). This situation affects the victims by increasing their mortality rate. Besides, the victims do not know a lot about fertility; hence their health conditions become worse due to a lack of the proper care and medications. The offending persons and institutions lose their practicing licenses. It is illegal to discriminate against a person due to their racial and cultural affiliations. Situations like this affect society by reducing the number of future generations and more births of physically and mentally impaired children.
